Jadeius Remix Podcast

This mix goes out to my MySpace buddy Reece, who is brave (and daft) enough to travel across the whole world on a bicycle, hence the name of the mix, Bicicleta Discoteca. He is currently somewhere in Latin America, Costa Rica last time I checked, so naturally, this mix has a Latin theme. All Latin or Latin-inspired dance/club music. Anybody who can ride a bicycle from one end of the United States to the other, and then back, and then through Mexico, and STILL plan on traveling the rest of the world is one brave and bold mofo in my book. He inspired me by showing me that one can do anything if he or she has enough determination and motivation, so I wanted to make a little something special for him to enjoy as he tours Latin America. Hopefully many, many other people will enjoy this mix also! This is a track that was mainly written by Digital Starflower, a great friend of mine, and she sent me the project file so we could collaborate. I lengthened the song slightly, added some cool percussion stuff, did some filtering effects, and messed around with the mastering suite to make it sound wider, fuller, and more atmospheric.

Digital Starflower is an Electronica/Experimental/Ambient musical artist from Seattle, Washington. She has vast experience in a studio environment, and formal training in audio production. She has taught me much of what I know about audio production myself, and I thank her much for paying forward her experience! Check her out on her MySpace page below:
